Aboriginal Passport Ceremony grants Julian Assange a passport
On September 15, 200 people, including WikiLeak’s founder Julian Assange, received an Aboriginal Passport at a ceremony in Redfern. The passports convey support for Aboriginal sovereignty, the ongoing struggle for Aboriginal rights and against racism.
Assange’s passport was accepted by his father, John Shipton.
