‘Driftwood’ is a nasheed (song of praise) about being in the ocean of Allah (AJ). That when Allah (AJ) make the religion to be true, He places them in a ocean of His mercy. And all you can feel like is a wood that just bouncing in endless tides and endless testing. And the yearning to land on the shore – that’s the shore of the heavens. Because when Allah (AJ) loves His servant in dunya (material world) He puts them through an ocean of rahmah, of testing.
