MIB STD2 toolbox install on seat leon mkIII, vw, skoda

This video is about how I installed MIB STD2 toolbox on my Seat leon mk III, vw, skoda, procedure is very much the same. MIB STD2 toolbox is non official software (not by VW, Seat or Skoda) created by enthusiast @ and it can be found on this link : Version I installed in this video is v1.2 and GitHub link is : This software can be used for many customizations of your infotainment system, and my goal is to use it for full link activation. Full link is capability to connect mobile phone to infotainment unit and use some mobile phone applications on infotainment unit. This funcionality is locked by manufacturer by default and they charge to unlock it. Steps: 1. Prepare one formated, empty SD card 2. Download MIB STD2 toolbox from link : and copy all files on SD card 3. Remove SD cards from infotainment unit and insert this prepared card in slot 1 4. Turn on ignition 5. Enter ’Service mode’, run ’Software updates’ from Service mode menu 6. Click on ’Update’, select source ’SD card’ 7. Select ’MIBStd2’_Online_Approval(V432-1) 8. Press ’Start’ and ’Next’ 9. Follow instructions on screen 10. After installing MIB STD2 toolbox, you can enter in by entering GEM (Green Enginering Menu) as shown in video. Good luck...
