We’ve been party to the steady progression of Cotta’s productions for some time now, and with the arrival of ‘She’s Eclectic’ and ‘Running’ we knew the time was right to drop his sound on the unsuspecting dancefloor. There’s a raw vibe to these tracks which embodies the essence of a techno jam, revealing in gnarly overtones driven by deadly, effective arrangements. The curveball moves, like the outré drop-out in ‘She’s Eclectic’ or the twisted vocal sample in ‘Running’, are the signature of an artist following their own instincts with nothing to lose.
