The Northrop Grumman-built Triton unmanned aircraft system completed first flight on May 22 from the company’s production facility in Palmdale, Calif. Northrop Grumman is the prime contractor for the U.S. Navy’s MQ-4C Triton Broad Area Maritime Surveillance UAS.
