Trans Boss Of Endometriosis Charity Confronted Over Omitting The Word ‘Woman’ Steph Richards, 71, a transgender woman and the head of the Endometriosis South Coast charity, was accosted by host Emma Barnett, who asked why the word ’woman’ was not used to describe sufferers of the disease. Endometriosis is a condition where tissue similar to the lining of the womb grows in other places, such as the ovaries and fallopian tubes, and can cause severe pain and impact fertility.
