Trixie is trans. Tell a 2014 Vylet Pony that they’d make an album about Trixie in the future. It would be met with disbelief. I didn’t start out terribly interested in Trixie’s character, but the more she was developed over the show’s lifetime, I began to fall in love with her alongside Starlight. This story is focused on these primary things: Trixie’s struggle with identity, her desire to be seen and recognized, her relationship with Starlight, and her place in a world that eyes her past with suspicion.
