Detecting Pain in Cats - This can help!

Cats are pretty good at masking their pain. In the case of joint pain, rarely do they limp or “favor” another limb. When they are at the veterinarian’s office, the environment and stress of the visit can further limit their natural behavior and make it difficult for the vet to identify whether a cat may be in pain. In this segment Dr. Margaret Gruen, a veterinary behavior expert, shows a series of videos that demonstrate some subtle signs that can clue pet owners and veterinarians in about a cat’s pain.
