Protrusion of third eyelid gland (Cherry eye) and its surgical treatment by Morgan Pocket Technique

This is a video of cherry eye case in a 6 months old Shih Tzu breed dog and its surgical treatment by replacement of protruded third eyelid gland by using Morgan Pocket Technique. Polyglactin 910 6-0 suture material is used for the suturing. Post-operatively, eye drops Atro (atropine sulphate), Flur (Flurbiprofen) and Moxiflox were used, each 2 drops at 4 hours intervals for a week. The condition resolved nicely and appeared normal at the end of the video (last few seconds video, post-operative) was made on 7th day after operation.
