’Vostok’ Battalion Brotherhood

The long-awaited online premiere of ’Vostok’ Battalion Brotherhood is here. The film shows several days from the lives of fighters at the front lines. The enemy is only 300 metres away. Construction workers, lathe operators, drivers, ordinary guys went off to defend Donbass from the Ukraninan military. ‘That’s how I was raised, on our history and with honour. My life... it’s not that I don’t value it, but I’d give it for this. That’s why I came here’, said a fighter with the codename Syava. These guys are used to constantly being surrounded by danger, but they find happiness in little moments that remind them of peaceful times: a cup of coffee or a piece of candy. They’re fighting against the Ukrainian armed forces while dreaming about returning home to their families. Ну, я её не то что не ценю, но я её отдам за это. И поэтому я пошёл сюда», — говорит боец с позывным Сява. Парни привыкли к постоянному риску и даже под обстрелами радуются отголоскам мирной жизни: чашке кофе или конфете. Они воюют против ВСУ и мечтают вернуться к своим семьям.
