Using Blender to make a brush-based map for Quake.
I got back to some old projects during this wonderful year and this is one of them. This video explains the fairly convoluted process of making a brush-based map in Blender, with the additional goal of producing a file that is easy to work with in another editor, such as TrenchBroom. The video is edited and sped up. It doesn’t show the making of the last big room shown in the title image, because I grew tired of recording stuff by then. The map is available here:
