Restoration Old Bebut Curved Soldiers Dagger

Hello folks! Today I will show you a new restoration project! It’s curved soldier’s dagger Bebut of the 1907 model, it is also called the artillery Bebut or the curved Caucasian dagger. This particular issue is 1916 or 1917 — the last digit is damaged. The subject is certainly well-known, and I will try to get as close as possible to the original appearance of this Caucasian dagger. Moreover, I really like bebuts! Let’s start the restoration! First — I put the dagger in a rust remover, then washed and dried. To polish the blade, I used sandpaper from 120 to 1200 grit, and then polished it on a felt circle. As for the accessories. I mean scabbard fittings and handle brass parts. Here I collected the parts separately, it took 5 weeks. As a result, I received all the details, including the details of the handle and scabbard together.
