Crystal Bowl Versus Tibetan Bowl - Whats the Real difference?

Hi Everyone, my name is Nuno and this is my first Video on Youtube. I’m the founder and facilitator of Ilumina Sound Healing, a project that is going to share music soundtracks for self-healing and sound therapy. I’m going to use crystral quartz sound bowls, tibetan bowls, gongs and other instruments. In this first video i wanted to show you the sound difference between a Crystal Bowl and a Tibetan bowl. I used a Thomann Crystal sound bowl tuned in A, and a Peter Hess sound bowl tuned in B. This video shows you how different they are, and how sound travels in them. The tibetan bowl sings in a gentle way. Has a metalic but calm sound, perfect for low ressonance and sound therapies. It’s hard to manage the vibration on the mallet once it gets louder - she´s not made to be rubbed louder. The Crystal bowl in the other hand, has a clear and pure sound. Hard to record the sound because of its frequency when it gets louder. It’s perfect for rubbing mallets around her, and she releases an amazing watch
