Avatar: Legend of Korra Opening

Here is what everyone has been waiting for! After seeing “The Last Airbender“, I was deeply disappointed. But then I discovered that I saw the 2D version, and that the 3D version somehow manages to be worse. I felt like I could do 3D better than M. Night, even though I never saw the 3D version. Also, it doesn’t help that I am totally pumped for Legend of Korra. This was my experiment in extrapolating 3D information from a 2D image and also my first time rendering in stereoscopic 3D. In case you want to see how I did this, see a 2D version, or deconstruct the promo image pixel by pixel like I did, I included a ZIP file with all of the assets. You need Photoshop CS5 and Motion 4 to view them.
