Slab Town - Surfing Java - October 2nd, 2021

Although it doesn’t look it from the beach, this Javan surf break is very heavy, shallow, and challenging to surf. It’s usually dominated by bodyboarders, so was it was a bit unusual to only see one in the lineup during our time filming there. It’s a long & dangerous drive from Bali to get there, but was definitely worth it. We will also be making another edit from our time there featuring land & drone footage.
