GT World Series 2023 Announcement Trailer

In 2018, a new form of motorsport was born in which players around the world would utilize their driving prowess to compete in Gran Turismo; an official global Gran Turismo Championship. Fast forward to 2022 in the 5th year for the official championships, the new “Gran Turismo World Series (GTWS)” opened in line with the release of Gran Turismo 7. In the 2023 Gran Turismo World Series, the hosting format has been greatly changed. First, the online series where the drivers fight for a spot in the live events will be hosted in 1 Season consisting of 7 rounds in total. The live Showdown and World Final Events will see the Nations Cup change from the single driver race in the previous years to a team match with 3 representatives per team, increasing the sense of national/regional teams competing for the top of the world. The most important element for both the upcoming drivers finding stability in their performance and the experienced veterans alike, is of course teamwork.
