As Music Director, he oversaw the bar as the new hotspot for soulful, dynamic, underground music, leading him to launch Bebop Music Collective (BMC) the following year. Since 2015, Monty has been an avid member of the Jakarta and Bali music scenes. He regularly performs his signature sound, which he calls “The Booty Groove,“ a unique blend of house, jazz, latin, disco, and soul; it’s distinctly heard across his setlists and music productions. internationally between multiple countries, Monty believes in the power of fusion and building bridges. Now, as the head of Bebop Music Collective, he manages a roster of 12 musicians. In this next chapter of his career, he plans to highlight Jakarta on the international underground music circuit, hosting guest artists and promoting Indonesian talent to the world. As a DJ, he has been featured in Mixmag Indonesia and has opened for international artists such as Jitwam, Cherokee, and The Whooligan. With his distinct groovy sound, he is regularly booked by luxury fashion brands & publications like Yves Saint Laurent, Hermès, Police, and Cosmopolitan.
