The Truman Show Trailer

This is a trailer I created as a final project for my video editing class. The project required a narration so, much against my will, I only did a quick one. My goal for this project was to construct a trailer for this movie in a fashion I hadn’t seen done before. I looked over other trailers for the Truman Show, some official, some unofficial, and was left with ideas. I wanted to design it in such a way where if someone who is unfamilar with the movie were to watch it, they wouldn’t understand the full truth of Truman’s life and only experience the story through his eyes. I purposely left out key elements of the plot to create a trailer that would raise more questions than it would answer, and leave viewers wanting to understand the mysteries shown, just like Truman himself does. I believe that is what would cause someone to want to watch a movie.
