CAT TALKING TO SNOW | WHY?

Yesterday it was snowing for the first time in a long time in The Netherlands. And Smoothie started to “chatter“ to the snow. Does anyone know why? First I thought she just chattered to birds, but there were no birds behind the window. Just snow falling down. Fortunately Milkshake - who was very confused as usual - tried to comfort her.
