🔘 Headless Cross is the fourteenth studio album by the British heavy metal band Black Sabbath, released on April 24, 1989 through IRS. This work marked the debut of drummer Cozy Powell and the only one recorded by session musician Laurence Cottle. as a bassist, it also included the participation of Brian May, Queen’s guitarist, in the song “When Death Calls“. The album, produced by guitarist Tony Iommi and Powell, performed better on the UK Albums Chart than its two predecessors and peaked at number 31, however it was a flop in the US, where it only peaked at number 115 on the UK Albums Chart. Billboard 200, due to poor promotion by the record company.
