Certain things come to mind quickly when thinking of traditional music in Newfoundland and Labrador. Jing offers up her modern take on traditional music, but she doesn’t play a fiddle, an accordion, or even a guitar. She is a talented guzheng artist, and she has been introducing her rendition of traditional Chinese music to us here on the east coast of Atlantic Canada since she came to Newfoundland in 2015.
