S. Korea, Saudi Arabia sign MOU to strengthen defense cooperation

방사청, 사우디 국방부와 ’중장기 방산협력’ 양해각서 체결 South Korea and Saudi Arabia have agreed to further strengthen their defense cooperation. Seoul’s Minister of Defense Acquisition Program Administration, and his Saudi Arabian counterpart, signed a memorandum of understanding on Sunday in Riyadh. Under the MOU, the two countries will establish a joint committee to cooperate in research and weapons development in the mid to long-term. The Defense Ministers of the two countries also attended the signing ceremony. South Korea’s Minister Shin Won-sik is on a visit to the Middle East this week.
