This is the first of many trips we make into the complex of mines at Phoenix. THE UNDERGROUND WORKINGS WERE ABANDONED IN 1919 AND ABOUT 10 MILES OF TUNNELS REMAIN TODAY! Recently we have purchased our own abandoned mine the Yankee Boy Mine! We are rehabilitating the mine so the public can explore an abandoned mine for themselves safely.
