Hello~ :D Aaah, this one has been in my files for such a long time! You wouldn’t believe it. Back when I started arranging Gröne Lunden I thought to myself that it would be fun to see what happens when I reversed the melody... so I did just that and it actually sounded quite pleasant... a bit uncoordinated though. So I sat down and rearranged bits and pieces and put together the base for this song but I wasn’t 100% satisfied. So I left it at that and worked on different things. A few years later then I picked it up once more and fell in love with it all over again. I liked the melody, but I still felt it could be changed some more. This is where I thought about including some live instruments and improvising a bit. When I first put it together I used an old zither VST (one that looooved to crash my program and blast me with distortion, lol) so I wanted to change that and tried playing it with my trusty old alto recoder and that was what I felt was missing.
