Israeli raid on Nablus triggers protests

Israeli forces fired tear gas at protesters during a raid on the West Bank city of Nablus. The Palestinians erected barricades and set fire to them, forcing the use of bulldozers to clear the streets. Dozens of demonstrators were reported injured. The West Bank has witnessed more than a year of relentless violence since March of 2022, with the Israeli military conducting near-nightly raids in the region.
