Cuarteto Orishas, from “Caleidoscopio Americano“ García de León was born in Jáltipan, Veracruz, Mexico, on July 10, 1952. He is the founder, together with other Latin American musicians, of the “Casa de las Américas Musicology Award“ in Havana, Cuba (1979). He has participated as an interpreter and / or composer in the main national and international festivals.
