Biden flies to Britain insisting: Kyiv needs our cluster bombs

President Biden defended his decision to supply cluster bombs to Ukraine as he flew into London last night for a meeting with Rishi Sunak before a critical Nato summit in Lithuania. The United States president said it was a “difficult” choice made necessary as Ukraine was starting to run low on ammunition in its war against Russia. After his meeting with the prime minister in London and the King at Windsor Castle, Biden will go to Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania for a Nato summit, 20 miles from the border of Belarus, a Russian ally. He is urging members to agree to admit Sweden into the alliance.
