’The dead can’t hear your apologies’: Boris Johnson COVID Inquiry interrupted by protesters

Four protesters interrupted Boris Johnson as he began giving evidence to the Covid inquiry by apologising for deaths during the pandemic. One protester held a banner saying ‘the dead can’t hear your apologies’ while the others held up pictures while standing in the public gallery. The inquiry chair stopped the ex-Prime Minister speaking while they were removed from the room.
