Ingredients
1/2 cup kodo millet/kodra
6 cups water to soak the kodo killet. soak overnight
1/2 cup split moong dal/mung beans
water to soak the moong dal, as needed. soak for 1 hour, in the morning, before making the khichdi
1 tsp sendha namak/himalayan pink salt
1/2 tsp kali mirch/black pepper powder
(for tadka/tempering the khichdi)
3 tbsp desi ghee/clarified butter
1 tsp jeera/cumin seeds
1 tsp jeera/roasted cumin powder
1/2 tsp black pepper powder
