New England Revolution II GK Training ( Distribution )

One of our principle for goalkeeping is to play out from the back comfortably ( Build Up to Advance ) and become an anchor. Some Goalkeepers/Players have a different philosophy, playing style, and ideas towards how they want to achieve their goal. Yet, especially, for professional players you would have to adapt into how the team / gaffer wants to play. Ability to adjust your playing style is critical and vital in this professional stage. Having said that, we produce, develop, and train goalkeepers to be an anchor (Not a playmaker.) And these training are so important. Progression 1 : 1 touch pass ( Ability to distribute 1 touch pass with top quality.) Progression 2 : 2 touch pass ( Ability to distribute 2 touch pass with top quality scan shoulder.) Progression 3 : Combine both P1 and P2. (Attention to detail)
