General election watch: Starmer accused of running scared of TV debate with Sunak

Rishi Sunak arrived in Northern Ireland for the fourth leg of his whirlwind tour of the UK - and attacked Keir Starmer for not going face-to-face against him in a TV battle. The Prime Minister is perhaps hoping to land a big televised blow on Starmer to help close the gap in the polls, but it seems to make less sense for the Labour leader - who is in Scotland today - to get involved.
