They Do Love A Carnival! (1932)

Full title reads: “Braine Le Comte. They do love a Carnival! Happy revellers - in ancient & picturesque costumes - from all parts of Belgium, form one joyous procession in annual Summer Festival.“ Braine Le Comte, Belgium. Procession walks down town street. People wear a costume with top hats. They are led by people playing long trumpets and amidst the procession are lots of people carrying banners. Following in the procession are children dressed in traditional costume and carrying baskets. They have yolk like devices around their necks to help them carry their loads. They are wearing clogs. More people walk in the parade - they are wearing a different type of traditional dress. Further back still are people dressed in odd costumes with large feathered head pieces or hats.
