Explosions In The Sky - Six Days at the Bottom of the Ocean

Explosions in the Sky performs an amazing live rendition of “Six Days at the Bottom of the Ocean“ from the band’s 2003 CD release - The Earth Is Not A Cold Dead Place. This footage was taped at Emo’s in Austin, TX on 8/30/01, a full two years before the song was commercially released. Note: In my experience when taping at Emo’s (I use a live mic, not a soundboard patch), the audience is usually full of chatter during softer music passages, however, on this occasion, one could hear a pin drop, because the venue was so mesmerized! Great show from such a dynamic, instrumental band - no doubt EitS is proudly considered as one of Austin’s finest. Hope you dig it.
