Could We Terraform Mars? Or Should We Focus on Improving Life on Earth?

What is humanity’s unique paradox in the 21st century? Why is colonizing Mars an idiotic idea? Why would colonizing other planets not work? What should we understand before we think about “fixing the world” around us? There is no reason for half of humanity to go hungry and children to die from malnutrition all around the world. There is the definite possibility to feed and clothe everybody. We have a virtual reality where humanity can communicate above time and space, we could conduct ourselves in an efficient way. We can preserve the planet in a truly effective way where, for example, the climate can reward us instead of being against us. That is all within our reach. We never had so much power and ability as we do now. We can make life paradise on Earth. At the same time, we use all our technology mostly to kill each other, while we destroy the planet day by day. Almost all scientists agree that basically, we are all doomed. This is the scary, unprecedented paradox we live in today. It is very cool
