Toller Cranston 1975 World Championships LP

While not his best skate - the altitude meant that most did not skate their absolute best - this is a fantastic program. In 1976 he returned to the LP he had done during the 1974 season and this is the only recording I have of this particular program. Avant garde even for Toller; for me at least, it is a masterpiece. Incidentally, Toller finished second in the SP to Yuri Ovchinnikov and 2nd in the LP to Terry Kubicka but the combined SP and LP placements meant that Toller was still regarded as the free skating champion of the World; a status he owned in 1972, 1974 and 1975.
