How Covid-19 has changed Britain forever

In the last year, the British government has found that it can pass the most draconian and far-reaching laws without using parliament and that restricting the freedom of citizens to gather, whether on the streets or even in their own homes, is the easiest thing in the world. It is unlikely that the political system will remain unchanged after such a useful discovery.
