Vice President Kamala Harris arrives in London: Planes, helicopters and motorcades 🇺🇸 🇬🇧

US Vice President Kamala Harris and Second Gentleman Douglas Emhoff arrive in London aboard ’Air Force 2’, before departing in a US Army Chinook as ’Army 2’. A large motorcade of US Secret Service and Metropolitan Police stood by in case the helicopters were grounded. Another plane, and another helicopter, were present as spares / decoy aircraft. She will be attending the AI safety summit at Bletchley Park later this week. The plane being used as ’Air Force 2’ was a US Air Force Boeing C-32, while the helicopter being used as ’Army 2’ was a CH-47 Chinook. She didn’t travel in any of the armored Chevrolet Suburbans available in the motorcade until she arrived in Central London.
