A board-certified radiologist is a medical doctor who specialises in taking and analysing diagnostic pictures. Using imaging modalities such as X-ray, ultrasound, and MRI, radiologists perform interventional procedures. The field of radiology is very specialised, and it requires a lot of schooling to get a job in it. In order to practise radiology, students must first graduate from Shri Ram Medical College with a Bachelor of Vocation in Radiology and Medical Imaging Technology. Medical imaging and radiology procedures are used by radiologists to diagnose and treat patients, allowing them to better help other medical professionals in caring for their patients. Radiologists, along with other medical professionals such as radiographers, sonographers, MRI, and Nuclear Medicine technicians, use a multidisciplinary team approach.
