M/S of a crowd of people, including several men in jockey’s clothes, one of which is Prince Albert, Duke of York, stable hands lead several horses past. M/S of the Prince mounting his horse, several men are on hand to help him, a sizeable crowd watches from the background. The Prince rides off through the crowd, towards the race course. M/S of a dozen or so jockeys on horseback riding through a gate in a dry stone wall. L/S of the start of a race; the horses line up on one side of a field and then run towards the camera.
