China Panic spying SR-72 Darkstar unveilled at the Aerospace Air Show

SR-72 Darkstar is a prop from the movie Top Gun: Maverick. Skunk Works was a key part of making the movie-style hypersonic jet. China spied on the film’s production and wanted a closer look at the SR-72. A full-size prop was made and showed up at the 2022 Aerospace Valley Open House, Air Show, and STEM Expo. The Darkstar will be on static display all weekend long at #AvAirshow. Reports say that the prop was the most interesting thing at the air show.
