Raj an orphan is an aspiring singer. He comes to Mumbai to pursue his singing career. In a turn of events he saves Pooja Oberoi, daughter of a wealthy businessman, who has an accident and falls in front of a speeding train. Pooja is hospitalised and slips into a coma. Her family members rush to the hospital. Seeing Raj there they assume that he is Pooja’s husband Romi, with whom she had eloped and whom they had never met.
