Mid Hants Railway ’Spring Steam Gala’ - Friday 12th February 2016

My first visit to the Mid Hants Railway in 3 years would fall on the first day of the 2016 Spring Gala which took on a the theme of Guildford Shed with 2 visiting locomotives visiting the line for the gala. Q Class 30541 visiting from the Bluebell Railway and T9 30120 from the Bodmin & Wenford Railway. Another major highlight for the gala was the return to steam of resident Ivatt tank No. 41312 after completion of its overhaul.
