Chapter 4 where Eeyore loses a tail and Winnie-the-Pooh finds one.

Winnie the Pooh Chapter 4 in which Winnie-the-Pooh while visiting Eeyore the old grey donkey discovers that his tail is missing. Eeyore is surprised and most upset. Winnie-the-Pooh promises to find his tail for him and goes off to visit Owl in the hundred-acre wood in the hope that being a wise old fellow he will be able to come up with a plan to find the tail. While talking to Owl in the doorway he notices a bell pull which looks very familiar. Winnie-the-Pooh asks Owl how he came by the bell pull and Owl says he pulled it off a bush in the forest. Winnie-the-Pooh tells Owl that he has accidentally pulled off Eeyore’s tail. Winnie-the-Pooh takes the tail back to Eeyore and Christopher Robin attaches it to Eeyore once more.
