Israeli airstrike destroys Gaza building as violence continues

The Israeli military said more than 1,600 rockets have been fired from Gaza since Monday, and that the Iron Dome has intercepted 90 per cent of them. The violence between Hamas and Israel has escalated to levels not seen since 2014. Gaza’s Health Ministry said the death toll rose to 69 Palestinians, including 16 children and six women. A total of seven people have been killed in Israel, including four people who died on Wednesday. Among them were a soldier killed by an anti-tank missile and a six-year-old child hit in a rocket attack.
