While conducting a rutinue training exercise with elements of the Royal Navy’s Mediterranen Fleet, a flawed order from Vice Admiral Sir George Tryon, set the flagship of the fleet, the powerful ironclad HMS Victoria on a collison course with the battleship HMS Camberdown.
