Cemetery Gates Lamp Post - Gothic DIY Flashback

This Gothic DIY tutorial first appeared in Gothic Homemaking Episode 2: Let There Be Light. This project still continues to illuminate and bring a wonderfully macabre touch to the Lair! These standing floor lamps can be found littered all over my neighborhood when the NYU students leave for the summer and apparently throw out all of their furniture. I’m so glad I was able to come up with this wonderfully Gothic DIY way to transform such a boring piece of furniture into something worthy of your Gothic lair or your haunt! It’s also great as a set piece for a horror film set! This is one of the easiest spooky DIY furniture pieces I’ve made on the show so I hope you’ll give it a try! The floor lamps are easily found at places like Home Depot. I make these videos with my own money.. of which there is very little now because I haven’t been performing live.
