Stuffed Pulled Pork Grilled Cheese Sandwich Recipe -
Ingredients:
1 pound boneless pork shoulder
1 sliced onion
2 garlic cloves
1 can plum tomato
Vegetable Stock
Cold Pulled Pork
1/2 Cup Fontina Cheese
1/2 Cup Mozzarella Cheese
1/2 Cup Mayonnaise
Chopped parsley
1 tbsp Butter
Whole sourdough milk bread
Hot sauce of preference
Steps:
1. Sear the boneless pork shoulder on all sides
2. Add sliced onion and garlic cloves
3. Saute until translucent and fill the pot with crushed plum tomatoes and vegetable stock
4. Simmer on low heat for two to three hours
5. Let chill until use
6. Cut two thick slices of bread, 2 inches wide at least, and make a pocket on each slice
7. Fill the pockets with half the cheeses and all the pulled pork with its pan sauce
8. Spread mayonnaise on all sides of the sandwich
9. On a griddle or cast iron pan, add butter on medium-low heat, and sear one side of the sandwich
