Homemade transcripted guitar cover of “Hole in the Sky“ taken from Atoma’s “Skylight“ masterpiece (2012) in Drop D# tuning (E string down half tone). 0:00 - intro 0:23 - intro (lead) 1:03 - verse 1 1:29 - chorus 1 1:55 - verse 2 2:20 - break 2:46 - reprise 3:12 - chorus 2 2 hours of work and 6 takes to get this result. I had other plans for the next cover but this song just poped into my playlist this week and I thought it would be a nice break. One of the catchiest track of the first Atoma album, absolutely amazing! Not so difficult, except the break which I still haven’t catch the timing. The rhythm parts are sometimes a bit approximative though... But I guess you’re used to ;) Recorded with an iRig2, a smartphone and my Lag Roxanne Standard.
