Dublin attacks: Brazilian Caio Benicio emotionally talks tackling attacker & hopes for little girl

The man who intervened to stop yesterday’s horror knife attack on three young children and their carer in Dublin has said he does not want to be hailed a hero. A five-year-old girl and a woman in her 30s who was looking after her remain in critical condition this morning after they were injured in the attack on Parnell Square yesterday. Two other children were also injured in the attack. Brazilian Deliveroo rider Caio Castro Menenzes Benicio told Newstalk that he just was passing through Parnell Square when he saw a man struggling with a woman. “Later I find out that the woman, she was the teacher of the school, and she was very, very brave I have to tell you,” he said.
