BioShock 2 PC Quiet Gun Fix | Restore The Original Audio Mix | Comparison

The following is a guide for fixing the quiet guns and unbalanced audio in Bioshock 2 PC. Fully compatible with DLC! Patch 1.4 for Bioshock 2 made some odd changes to the audio mix. Many things were altered, but most noticeable was a large cut to the players gun volume. This fix will restore the original retail sound mix. Previous versions of this fix replaced with its original retail version. This worked to an extent, however as the replacement file was pre-DLC it was not compatible with Minerva’s Den and the Protector Trials. This fix has been modified with the missing entries, and is fully compatible with both DLC’s.
